Eliot's 7th Birthday

A few pictures of the elongated celebration of Eliot's birthday (which haven't actually all finished yet!!)

The first party was with his friends the crazy gang. Here are a couple of the chimps tea party.

3 days later and it is actually Eliot's birthday.







Here he is opening presents from his friends first thing in the morning.







..and the first time on his bike - very, very early in the morning before school.

As you can see below it didn't take very long to get the hang of it and to get thundering down the dirt track!

Meet the family

Time to use this blog for the reason I set it up in the first place.

Eliot was 5 in the photo taken here.












This is Lottie a couple of weeks ago at my parent's house. Nobody could quite believe that she put on a pink hat. Lottie is anything but 'pink'!!









Lottie again. This time with our neighbour's cat Dibble who became Lottie's new best friend while she was feeding him for a week.




















Finally a family picture (without me of course) taken on the cliffs of Cornwall last year.

Pea Harvest

More peas from our pea plants today. Probably the biggest success of the season which just keeps going. The strawberries were great to start with but then the field mice found them and we've had none since. Here's a few pictures of Eliot picking them.

Eliot - Most improved Mini-tennis player

Here's the first attempt at a photograph then. This is Eliot age 6 proudly holding his award for Most Improved Player at the tennis club amongst the kids aged 6-8. He's playing lots of matches at his age group and above and when he decides to concentrate he does quite well.

First post

I'm going to use the blog to post pictures of the family for others to see. It seems easier to do this here than to create some website somewhere and spend time formatting it. But we'll see how it goes.

Trouble is that I don't have any pictures on the laptop that I am writing this from. So it'll just have to wait for a while
